Sandeep founded NirVyn in 2025 after two careers that together span close to four decades — twenty-two years as a commissioned officer in the Indian Navy, followed by fourteen leading enterprise security and risk for some of India's largest industrial businesses. He has set risk and security strategy at Reliance Industries, Vedanta Aluminium, and G4S — operating at the scale and complexity that the firm's current clients are themselves navigating. The bench he has built at NirVyn extends that practitioner orientation rather than dilutes it.
His view of the practice is direct: security is not a cost centre to be tolerated; it is the quiet enabler of growth. Most security problems are systemic, not symptomatic. Paracetamol brings the fever down; it does not cure the disease. The endeavour at NirVyn is to find the root cause and design for it — measured, evidence-based, fitted to the business rather than lifted from a template. A PhD in Management and three decades in the field have convinced him of one thing: good security is good judgement, applied early.
